Barn Conversion By Cranage Construction

Barn Conversions

Conversion of redundant farm buildings into five units designed by Meller Braggins.

The barns were stripped back to a basic shell, new concrete floors were installed on the ground floor and new timber floors constructed on the first floor.

A complete new warm roof structure was fitted, all the walls were dry lined with metal stud petitions and covered with insulated plaster board to achieve modern u values.

Special features include exposed timber rafters and trusses to first floor ceilings and fully fitted kitchens with granite worktops.

Project duration fourteen months.
